A few things you might be wondering.

Do I need a membership? No. Choose $45 per completed booking or $99/month for unlimited bookings during your active membership. Sitter pay is separate in both cases.

Is $45 a weekly subscription? No. Our $45 option is a one-time service fee for one completed visit. It does not automatically renew.

What does $99 include? Requesting, messaging, confirmation and repeat-booking tools, plus support for confirmed visits. There is no additional $45 fee for covered visits. Sitter hours, approved extras and applicable taxes remain payable.

Can I see options before paying? You can submit an eligible request and review responses before buying a plan. A sitter is not reserved until the booking is confirmed. A card and acceptance of the payment terms are required to confirm.

How far ahead should I request? At launch, between 48 hours and 30 days ahead. We do not offer guaranteed last-minute care.

What ages do you serve? Our initial service is for children aged 3 and older, up to three children from the same family per sitter. Explain any specific needs so the sitter can assess whether the request is suitable.

Can I book only two hours? A four-hour minimum applies. Choose a four-hour visit or discuss a shorter physical visit while paying the four-hour minimum.

Can I request the same sitter? Yes. Save their profile and send another invitation. They must accept each new date.

Are sitters employees of the platform? The legal relationship and party responsible for employment-related obligations will be explained in the final service agreement before booking.

Are sitters checked? Approved profiles show completed onboarding checks and their dates. Read Our standards for the scope and limitations. A check is not a guarantee of safety or suitability.

Is a sitter guaranteed? No. If a request receives no suitable confirmed response, no $45 booking fee is charged. Subscription refund rules are described in Cancellation & refunds.

How do I pay? Through the platform’s payment flow. You receive separate line items for sitter pay, service fees, applicable taxes and approved extras. You can flag an incorrect timesheet before final processing.

Can a sitter drive or stay overnight? Not in our initial service. We also do not offer swimming supervision, group event care or care for children from multiple households at launch.

Can a sitter give medication? Routine medication administration is outside our launch scope. Disclose allergies and emergency needs privately before confirmation; a qualified, informed sitter must agree to the care plan. If our service cannot meet a child’s needs safely, we will not confirm the booking.

What about pets or cameras? Disclose pets and indoor recording devices before confirmation. Never record in bathrooms or other private spaces. The sitter can decline a request that does not fit their comfort or capabilities.

Can I cancel? Yes. At least 24 hours before the visit, cancel without a service or sitter cancellation charge. Later cancellations may incur the sitter compensation described in our policy.

What if my sitter cancels? We notify you and help look for another available sitter. A replacement is not guaranteed. If no replacement is confirmed, the visit is cancelled and related authorisations are released or refunded. The $45 fee is not charged.

How do I stop membership renewal? Go to Account → Membership → Cancel renewal. You retain access until the displayed expiry time. We confirm cancellation by email.

Can I use my NannyServices.ca subscription? No. These are separate services and payment plans unless a specific written promotion says otherwise.
